This memoir serves the purpose of exposing the devastating behaviors of domestic abuse and violence that are oftentimes swept under the rug or hidden behind closed doors. It outlines many common red flags of a toxic relationship and breaks down the barriers protecting those who abuse. Like the title, the memoir is offensive and confrontational in hopes that the readers will have a better perspective of what victims battle day after day, with no end in sight. We survivors can keep silent no longer. If we can prevent ONE person from being abused, then this whole traumatic journey was worth it.
