Seriously Dead

The year is 1954 and Detective Inspector William Mahon, along with his friend and colleague Constable Joe Hobbs, has moved to Dashfield in an attempt to escape his past failures and start anew with a clean slate. Their first case turns out to be the murder of a local figurehead and tycoon, Albert Asquith. The man's importance means that Mahon is under pressure to close the case quickly, but his confidence in his own abilities is at an all time low, as is the number of bodies working for the local police department.
