Beskrivelse
Once upon a time, in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, there was a wonderful college made just for women. For 113 years, from 1893 to 2006, it nurtured generations of students. It was called Randolph-Macon Woman's College. Chapter by chapter, at five years apiece, this is the story of how those students lived, what they did, what they thought, and, especially, how they had fun. Volume 3, 1944-1964, covers the exciting Battle of East, during which water from stopped-up showers cascaded down the stairs of East Dorm. It covers the Sophomores' annual efforts to conceal the nature of the Sophomore Play from the Freshmen. And, as a bonus, it also contains a chapter on R-MWC's 46-year tradition of producing Greek plays in the original Greek.
