Selkie Born

Marina has a secret. Sure, she is studying to be a marine biologist and plans to be a champion for the environment. She also just so happens to come from a family line of selkies, humans who can transform into seals. Only, most poeple don't know that. Including all of her friends at college. Partnered with Troy, a member of the US Coast Guard, they are tracking down the culprits behind an environmental disaster on the brink. Someone is dumping barrels of hazardous chemicals into the Puget Sound waterways, killing fish, birds, and other sea life, including some of the harbor seals Marina was researching. Will they be able to find and stop the chemical spills before more loss of life? Or will the deaths continue?

Will Marina's secret be revealed as she helps the Coast Guard track down the culprit? What will Troy, her new friend and an investigator, think if he finds out the green eyed girl he admires is also a green eyed seal?
