With the advent of rapid and amazing advances and recent breakthroughs in various fields of medicine in this millennium, including molecular aspects, genetics, epigenomics, and immunology the literature is inundated with considerable number of books, journals and raving reviews. But regrettably it is rather distressing to note the comparative deficiency of books and guides on evaluation of medical undergraduates pari passu with the magnitude of ever mounting literature on colossal breath taking advances enhancing comprehension of various disciplines of medicine. The relatively alarming dearth of guide books such as this the most useful instruments of evaluation dimensions of embedded knowledge in undergraduate medical students, has prompted publication of this book. This book contains 400 questions in Laboratory Medicine dealing with all important topics of Anatomic Pathology, Chemical Pathology, Hematopathology, Microbiology and Immunology. This will surely serve as an excellent tool for self- appraisal as well as a stimulus for gauging one's abilities to analyze, rationalize and synthesize the knowledge in a manner that would stand in good stead for clinicopathological correlation which is the quintessence of learning Laboratory Medicine. Besides, its systemic use will serve as a barometer for students the subject areas of weakness in which they would benefit from further study. We have taken all efforts to present the answers that will convey adequate useful information. If this is found useful it would confirm our aspirations as not only teachers and trainers but testers as well.
