This "Selected Poems" by award-winning Australian poet Vicki Raymond is her first British book publication, though her work has appeared widely in journals and anthologies. Her first book, "Holiday Girls and Other Poems", won the British Airways Commonwealth Poetry Prize for a first volume in 1986. Her second, "Small Arm Practice", was published by William Heinemann Australia in 1989. Several of her poems have been set to music by the composer Patrick Morris.
