Ever wondered why Santa Claus, being male, is called by a female Saint (Santa) & not Santo (male)? The reason being is that earlier versions of "Santa Claus" are blond hair females Just like in the Strand Magazine, Jan. 1891, showing a blond female "Santa Claus" holding a Christmas tree, descending down through the woods to a town below. This short historical poem, answers these questions & explores the history & origins of earlier versions of Santa Claus, Kriss Kringle & the German name for the wandering Christ-child, Christkindl, German for wandering Christ-child.
