Secrets in the Deep

Last year, the best things about my life were my friends, and a secret magic world called Chimera that we got to enter each month. The worst things were turning 13 and dealing with a bunch of bullies. This year, I don't mind being 13 any more, but the bullies are a bigger problem than ever. And I've learned to expect strange things in Chimera, like trolls and dragons and magic storms, but now weird things are starting to happen at home. Not to mention that we really have to be careful what we wish for in Chimera, because it just might come true. And usually not in a good way. But that's not the worst thing. This year, I'm afraid I may lose my friend Olivia. I can take the bullies and monsters and wishes that don't come out the way you want. I'm not sure I can take losing my friend.
