Join Giovanni 'Gianni' Pisano, retired American doctor, pseudo chef and enthusiastic gardener with drug and alcohol issues; bouncing back and forth between USA and southern France, attempting the daunting task of figuring out life.

 

While tending to his passion of growing and grafting fruit trees, he mystically meets Pepina Soler, a beguiling Catalonian woman who helps him overcome some bad habits as they embark on a whimsical journey of cooking, dining, gardening, hiking and travelling around the world.
