Seasoned is written as a practical guide for families to learn how to cultivate a culture that welcomes the presence of the Holy Spirit into their homes. Seasoned is not a daily family devotional, but more of a "spiritual seasoning rack," filled with practical ideas for families to learn how to tilt their hearts towards the Master Chef's heart and receive "spiritual flavor" from Him. The concepts and practical ideas discussed within Seasoned are identity, remembrance, worship, community, intercession, ministry, and forgiveness. The concept of "spiritual seasonings" is based on Jesus' statement that we, His Family, are the "salt of the earth." Each family within His Family is created to stand in stark contrast to the world, because the world craves to taste the goodness of the Lord for themselves.
