September 1940. Britain is the last European nation standing following the Nazi German onslaught that has quickly conquered Europe, one nation at a time. Britain stares down the barrel of the mighty Wermacht war machine, seemingly alone, and faces the prospect of the first invasion by a foreign aggressor in almost a thousand years.
Following a disastrous campaign in northern France that led to the evacuation from Dunkirk, Prime Minister Winston Churchill, now has to face his toughest test, and must use every weapon and diplomatic channel afforded to him to defend against his toughest opponent yet, Adolf Hitler and his Nazi horde.
With the invasion now in its second day, Winston Churchill finds that all of his carefully laid plans are slowly starting to unravel as the German war machine begins to spread out from the south coast. Over the Channel, confidence is running high and Hitler is preparing for the biggest day of his life. And, in Chesterfield, Johns' wife, Victoria, makes a new friend.
