Screaming in Silence

A collection of poems from when [Virginia] was in middle school and the 15 years of poetry since then. The author speaks of her depression in ways those can either relate or get closer to understanding what it is like inside a depressed teenager's mind and her growth through middle and high school. She hopes those who find this book in their hands will relate and open their minds to the dark abyss that can manifest from the mental illness and struggles of being Hard of Hearing and part of the LGBT, in a small town in Florida where she was outcasted for existing.
