He discovers that the officer in charge of the case is a work colleague. At one of his regular classes a prop he is using drops onto the floor and he notices that someone is paying a bit too much attention to it. 2. Solar Eclipse. A brutal kidnapping leads to the murder of a father and son. The case is closed quickly, the man they put away claiming that he was set up, then it happens again and Dave is called in. 3. Red Dawn. As the atmosphere glows red from the space dust of an exploding star, Dave and his family collapse. The morning brings an unexpected surge of energy, plus some new guests. 4. Shimmer.
