Rachel Ward, security specialist for Masterson Investigations was floored when she was invited to Washington, DC to interview with the FBI, CIA and Homeland Security. Three calls in one afternoon Who was she? And why did they ask her to interview? She weighed all her options based on that group of mysterious phone calls. Did she want to leave her protectee who had become her friend and the home she'd loved for a few years? Her Masterson Investigations family offered their advice but refused to sway her decision. What could the 3 interviews hurt? Little did she expect. The first female President-elect of the United States was looking for personal protection in addition to her own Secret Service protection. She wanted Rachel. No one else would do. Not sure she was qualified to protect the President, Rachel moved forward with her new assignment, gaining refresher courses from the FBI and Secret Service then moved into the White House residence with the First Family just before the inauguration. But there was someone who wanted Rachel. The man that killed her husband with a sniper rifle while he was on the job with the FBI, wanted Rachel. If he couldn't have her for his pleasure, then no one would. And, he planned to kill the President and her family. What no one knew, this mysterious man worked in the White House within the Secret Service and had access to all of his targets, the security codes and keys to the palace.
