Saving Elizabeth is the story of a young girl’s desperate struggle to save her seriously ill mother. Through Kirsten we experience extreme torment as she witness her mother tear herself apart though a self-destructive lifestyle, we feel the extraordinary warmth of a mother and daughter relationship that is filled with love and compassion, while observing a society filled with prejudices against alcoholism.
