A failed marriage behind them, they hadn't seen each other for five years. Now though, Annie needs Giorgio's help. Her only option is to fly out to Italy and appeal to him personally. She was prepared to beg if need be. She was determined to do right by her daughter, no matter what it meant for her personally. Her plan "B" should Giorgio fail her, again, was to approach his parent's. Giorgio now though was a hardened more cynical. he had shocks coming his way. Annie's arrival in Italy meant he had to face up to life changing issues. While doing so he would suffer terror and heartache. Maybe these two damaged people could once again find love.
