Beskrivelse
Among the main causes of the contamination of the San Lucas River we find garbage produced by anthropic activity, as well as the dumping of foreign matter, such as microorganisms, chemical products, industrial waste, among others. The main polluting factors were observed: people and animals defecating in the river, residential garbage dumping, sewage discharge (clandestine drains), car washes, residential, commercial, mineral and inorganic waste, and chemical compounds, due to bad practices of farmers who dump fertilizer containers and agricultural inputs into the river. In this sense, the objective of this study is to establish the causes, consequences and solution measures for the contamination of the San Lucas river, and to identify the variables that will be part of the causal diagram within the Vensim software environment, among the identified variables we have: level variables, flow variables, auxiliary variables and finally constant variables.
