Beskrivelse
A touching and insightful story of a young woman's healing from childhood abuse.
Abuse and neglect were all Jenny knew as a child. In her college years, she withdrew into herself and then chose to live a reclusive life in the San Juan Mountains. For two summers she backpacked through the wilderness and spent the winters in a secluded cabin, but when, with another winter coming on, she finds her cabin has burned down, she is forced to seek shelter with a stranger.
Wary and frightened, she finds the man, William, to be kind and caring, and they gradually develop a bond. With his help, she learns to trust people again and counseling helps her regain her spirit and get her life back. But will she ever be able to forgive her abusers and herself and move forward with her life?
