Join Sammy the Squirrel on his adventure to find himself some food!
Autumn is on it's way and Sammy the squirrel is feeling hungry and needs to start collecting food for the winter. High up in the branches of the tallest tree in the garden hangs a bird feeder full of nuts and seeds, Sammy's favourite food, but standing in it's way he finds Woody the Wood Pigeon, who doesn't like to share! So with some crafty ideas and a little help from his friends, follow Sammy as he tries anything he can to get to that bird feeder!
Tales from the Garden: Sammy The Squirrel is the first rhyming children's picture book from new author and illustrator Sam A. King. Full of bright colourful pictures and an engaging story, it's a ideal book for parents to read aloud with their kids, perfect as a bedtime story for a younger child, and even something that older children can read themselves. The story teaches them about all the animals they might see in their garden, and involves themes around helping each other, learning to share, and forgiveness; and the cute cartoonish illustrations are sure to delight on every page.
