The world into which Sam entered was one steeped in creativity and art, his parents being part of the London hippie community Gandalf's Garden, a detail that foreshadowed Sam's artistic path.Sam's early years were shaped by the rich tapestry of Scottish culture and the resilience of his mother, Chrissie Heughan, who raised Sam and his brother alone after their father's departure. Moving from New Galloway to Edinburgh, Sam's environment continually fueled his growing fascination with the arts.As a teenager, Sam stumbled upon the world of acting.
