This rhyming chapter book is CharLene Seay's first offering. Ocean currents pushed the large hermit crabs, Sam and Flam, onto the shore where they met. There Bob the Bucket Man found and captured them and delivered them to the Superstore. Fortunately a woman chose them from the large cage full of hermit crabs in the store and drove them home, with memorable adventures along the way. She'd created a crabarium in a 60-gallon glass tank. It held everything a hermit crab could want, including six inches of sand substrate for burrowing and a variety of climbing-apparatus items. She had done a lot of research and had provided the needed humidity, warmth, water bowls for the two kinds of water needed, a food bowl, fresh vegetables and fruits and protein sources, and an overstuffed chair and reading lamp for her.
