Part three of a three-part story.

Jan's voyage to the stars grows more perilous by the day. From one world to the next, he and Mell continue their search: she for her missing sister, he for the food and medicine his people need.

They and their unlikely crew head Rimward, nearer to the realm of the dreaded Enemy and the fabled Temple of Creation. Sought by the Enemy and the Faith, the Temple promises answers, and an end: either an end to scarcity, or an end to all life.

Pursued by both sides, Jan will be faced with the ultimate question: what price will he pay to save his people?
