Beskrivelse
A retired firefighter with a dream of adventure continues a great adventure on the oceans of the world. A true story beginning in 2012, this second part starts with the B n teau 423 departing North Carolina in 2015 with 2 souls on board, and continuing around the world to conclude in Grenada in 2019. Dramatic, often moving, or incredibly funny, it is a tale of leaving the familiar shores behind and setting out into some of the loneliest oceans of the world. Here Brian and Carol, later joined by Matt, test their strength against an impartial sea, visiting strange new lands and dealing with constant breakdowns, seasickness, and an unknown future. From the spectacular scenery of Fatu Hiva and R union to the crime ridden streets of South Africa, the awesome majesty of the giant stone moai of Easter Island, to the tikis of Nuku Hiva, the whale sharks of St Helena to the lemurs of Madagascar, the zesty story unfolds, full of drama, excitement and humour.
