Being pursued by drug cartels and terrorist groups made Mexico's lush jungles and quaint fishing villages lose much of their exotic charm. Before Lujan Tezcatlipoca was killed, he created a puzzle Mask that utilizes glyphs and symbols from Mayan and Toltec culture to reveal a terrorist plot. With the lives of thousands of innocents at stake, decrypting Lujan's Mask becomes a contest of wills between a small group driven by blackmail and the fanaticism of those who seek a return to the old ways regardless of the scale of the sacrifice. Caught in a current of disinformation, an unlikely team of an indigenous female artist, an ex-Navy SEAL, and an unconventional Shaman must outrun, outthink and outsmart those who will stop at nothing to prevent the puzzle Mask from being solved and telling its story.
