Sacred Dead: The Empire is Desperate

Peter Hansen is a Marine with a foxy redhead on his arm, but she's not normal. She leads him into intergalactic conflict that he must lead to save a Martian colony. Behind this, an ancient female artificial intelligence called Ai plots to protect her Empire thousands of light-years away. She secretly orchestrates the humans to seem to win the battle to have what she wants more than life. Humans are born killers, genetically driven to invent ways to kill each other, just what she needs to defeat a genocidal Clan of Creatures that are erasing life across half of the Empire. If Peter fails, it means the end of everything. But, if he succeeds, Ai has the one thing she wants most of all.
