Year 2104.

The world is no longer what we know of. In a distorted post apocalyptic society, a large part of

the worldwide population has been exterminated by a terrible and mysterious disease. Those having

been survived are locked up, depending on the severity of their symptoms, in circular areas - the so

called Rounds - delimited by holographic fences from which it is impossible to escape.

A group of scientists, may possibly represents the only hope for those suffering to be saved,

nevertheless, it will have to fight against a whole system based on the human wickness and selfishness,

behind which powerfull people above any suspicion, are being hidden.

An exciting science fiction novel, full of action and plot twists, where the main character, Nicholas, will

be obliged to fight against the ghosts of his past and his demons...

Donatella Tamburini was born in Genoa in 1982.

She attended the A. D'Oria Liceo Classico and then

studied Medicine and Surgery at the University of Genoa from which she graduated in 2007.She

specializes in Clinical Pathology and Chinese Acupuncture.

She have been always passionate about books and literature. She began to enter this special world at a

very young age, winning the prestigious Fao Special Prize at the 21st National Student Competition on

World Hunger, with one of her writings at the age of 10.

A mother of three children, she currently collaborates with a blog that deals with creating and editing

articles.
