Beskrivelse
After proving his passion and gift for filmmaking with "Die Bad" (composed of four shorts), Ryoo Seung-wan has continued to shape his stylistic range through various genres: noir action with "No Blood, No Tears"; comic action with "Dachimawa Lee"; urban martial arts with "Arahan"; human drama with "Crying Fist"; and more. Running through this wide spectrum of films like an electric current is action that achieves a new kind of poetry and vision. "The City of Violence" (2006) was invited to Venice International Film Festival in the Midnight Section. 2010 sees Ryoo releasing "The Unjust" and "Trapped" (working title).
