Rustlers' Ruse

Arizona aridness is a trying terrain for cattlemen watering thirsty cows and placer gold prospectors requiring water to wash off "overburden" soil to discover gold. Outlaws foment a conflict between them hoping it will enable them to hightail out of the territory with a large and re-branded stolen cattle herd. An old sheriff and his young and secretly hired deputy become aware of this crooked plot and ride to foil it.
