In June 1944, Malcolm Lowry saved from the flames the work that would be his celebrated novel, Bajo el volc n. He believed that Rumbo al mar blanco, the manuscript he had worked on relentlessly, had been lost in the same fire. But now, more than 50 years later, it is found.
