It includes personal reminiscences of some of the top players from the 1900s and goes on to offer a complete training and tactics guide. Illustrated throughout with photographs and diagrams, the book still has much practical advice to offer the modern rugby enthusiast, as well as the historical interest. Many of these earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive.
