Join Roscoe the Golden Retriever as he shares the adventurous tales of the homeless canine friends he meets at twin sisters Marilyn and Kate's no-kill animal rescue shelter. Roscoe and his owner, Katelyn, spend hours volunteering at the no-kill shelter to comfort the homeless dogs and cats and listen to the stories of how they ended up there. Roscoe is thankful that he has a good owner, and a safe home, but all that changes when mean old Mr. Clint from next door sets out to ruin Roscoe's wonderful life. When Roscoe and Hugo, a black lab puppy, find themselves homeless, what will Roscoe do? Will he remember the lessons his dear friend Spirit, the cat, taught him about what to do in case he ever got lost? Will Roscoe ever find his way back home again and protect little Hugo from the dangers of living on the streets homeless?
