Root of All Evil

Andrew Basnett's cousin Felicity is old, rich, and the owner of a swanky Berkshire estate (among other craveable items). If Basnett were a savvy mystery reader rather than a retired professor of botany, he would know that an invitation to spend the weekend at such an estate is all but guaranteed to involve at least one murder. But Felicity is all about an embarrassment of riches, so this trip delivers a death threat, an imminent disinheritance, a theft, abundant intrigue about the servants, and two corpses--good thing the quiet professor is around to suss out the family's secrets.
