Ron and the Deadly Doll

Ron's cosy week of self-indulgence is interrupted by a request for help from Benjy, a nerdy old school chum, who swears someone is out to kill him. This becomes all too obvious as Ron finds himself the target of bruising, yet comical, physical encounters with the ruthless henchmen on the payroll of the powerful businessman who wants Benjy dead at all costs. Ron struggles to get the police involved, keep his scorned girlfriend Cheryl uninvolved, and somehow discern the secret of the child's doll that seems to be at the centre of this whole business of murder. Reluctant at first, Ron is forced to tackle the events head-on, as only he can, with typical sarcastic wit, brashness, and reckless overconfidence.
