Roland's Deadline

Roland's wife brought joy to the other cancer patients. She had a calm to her demeanor that brought comfort to those who were otherwise suffering. Peggy graced the Oncology floor at St. Mary's until her own cancer sent her to another reality. Her loving and faithful husband had remained strong throughout her ordeal. Now, he too, was a patient on the Oncology floor, but there was no Peggy to comfort him. No Peggy to help him home. Just that damn Joey.
