This is the story of MAJ (Ret) J. Edison Krause's first tour to Iraq. He describes the experiences he and his Rogue Platoon went through from the moment he got the call to duty, to the perils they faced, and describes in saddening detail the troubles he and his soldiers faced after their bitter deployment to Iraq protecting critical assets throughout Iraq. He injects the difficult decisions he had to make as a father who had to leave his young son and wife to be for well over a year.
