By human nature, people have always tried to conquer land that was never theirs to take. Humans are greedy that way. But conquering land and wanting something from that land never did stop just in their realm. The people wanted this power that wasn't made for them and wouldn't stop till they have it for themselves, well, at least they thought they could...
Cricket, a sixteen year old boy, wasn't planning on everything to end up like this when he ran away from home that night, and he surely didn't expect to drag his two best friends, Rocket and Moss, into possible danger as well. He just didn't want to be forced to live with his mother for the rest of the summer... But now, he cannot go back on the forces that pushed him through that portal in the river.
"I've never seen this place before. Where are we?" I picked a rock up, skipping it on the river.
