Synopsis
Jefferson with the help of Tia has kidnapped Shade. And she's being held in the basement at Anthony's house. Kingston is unaware of what's happened to her because he was expecting Desmond to secure Shade's safety. But, when he finds out that their plan has gone to left field, the wrath of fury Kingston and Shade's band of villains unleash on the city trying to find her leads them on a trail of betrayal and deceit.
Shade awakens to find her circumstances looking bleak. She doesn't know who's to blame for her kidnapping, and there's a dead body lying on the floor in front of her. Determined to get to the bottom of what's going on, Shade goes into survival mode trying to figure out how she's going to escape her captors.
Chauncey is in the process of securing his concubine, while he continues to run and hide from Kingston's wrath back in Jamaica. He has plans to get Shade and convince that the best choice for her future and health is to join him when Kingston finally bows down and gives up his reign over the family empire. But Cynthia is not feeling this plan, because it knocks her out of a position of power by Chauncey's side.
A family secret will be revealed that will force a fight to the death. Also, there just so happens to be a connection with Shade's mother Palm's past, and the Thomas Family that is unexpected when she shows up at Kingston's house. Will Kingston be able to get Shade back from her captor? Will Shade be able to carry their baby or will the stress of her circumstances cause her to miscarry. Will Kingston decide to give up his legacy in order to save the woman he loves? There will be a path of dead bodies in St. Louis leading to the ultimate showdown for the family's empire.
