Jacque Voyer, a well-known New York model, is called back to her hometown because of her father nearly fatal heart attack. Once there, she becomes embroiled in yet another crisis; Ridge River, the resort now under construction, is about to collapse along with her parent's finances and the essential partnership with Bryan Holland. Jacque and Bryan join forces to save the resort, their instant attraction evident, but the more they surrender to their affections, the more they question whether the two families should be involved at all. Jacque's uncle, a prominent force in the area, is determined to take over Ridge River and gain complete control.
