Beskrivelse

This book will take you back in time to the humble home of a poor little Kentucky boy who was cruelly subject to children calling out "woods colt" and "illegitimate". In spite of his painful beginning, he grew up to serve his country in World War II, to receive his doctorate in education, and to serve on national committees related to handicapped students. He married his red-haired sweetheart, teacher and preacher's daughter, and he became a church leader. However, here is recorded his stumble and fall into spiritual doubt and confusion . He found that his run during his last years faced darkness and depression and his new philosophies were no help. He tried to escape with suicidal attempts. But there was a happy ending for this 87 year old prodigal son. It wasn't too late. He turned back and ran to his forgiving Father God . RICHARD'S RUN ended well
