Rhymes without Reason

Rhymes without Reason is something very different from the other books that Penelope Bourdillon has written, and it shows her in a completely new light.

In no way does it pretend to be a great literary work, nor does it mean that she has lost her deep love of the Scriptures.

It is simply a collection of lighthearted poems, which she calls doggerel, that Penelope wrote after a holiday or something that she really enjoyed; it was often her thank-you letter. She always kept a copy, but never dreamed that it would ever be seen by anyone other than the recipient.

Little did she think they would ever be published, but they give little glimpses into the lighthearted side of her life over the past years.  She hopes it can be just a bit of fun for anyone to enjoy.
