Rhyme Along

Thirty some years after graduation, the students from the class of 1986 medical graduate school at the Henan Medical University, Zhengzhou, China, were re-connected via the modern communication technology, WeChat. Without limitation of time or geography, the excitement of rekindling the good old time friendship were palpable. Ordinary words are not enough to convey the deep emotions among themselves so that poems are employed to express the feelings at a much higher level. Most of the graduates stayed in the medical professional field, either in China or in the USA, while others pursued a career in medical related fields around the world. But all are well established in their chosen profession. Some of the poems are excellent in literature quality while many are of premature for collection in the realm of literacy. But they all served the purpose well: capture the moment of excitement and memory in their personal and shared lives. The book is full of humors, serious discussions and depictions of scenery observations. These poems will serve them well into the future sun setting years.
