Revolt Against the Madness represents a rebellion of the instinctual mind against the madness of modern life. In a world that thrives primarily on the conceptual activities of the brain, we often fail to recognize the deeper concerns of the soul and the intelligent consciousness of the body in our resonance with the life-force. This book was written as a critique of a society that has developed largely through the exaltation of logic and the repression of love-that values the head over the heart, individual achievement over a sense of belonging, man over earth, technology over nature, and modern civilization over indigenous culture. As such, it seeks to produce dents, cracks, ruptures and gashes in the consensual fabric and shared paradigm of our wounded and wounding world so that a healing, or move towards wholeness, can occur.
