Estela Bremmer was a young widow editor for Pederson's Publication. She has high moral virtues and sees herself as a good girl, having also married a pious and loyal man. This is why she has limited her selection in screening books for publishing. She is selecting only the literary works that meet her virtues.
Here comes Michael Jensen, a sensualist author who shook her world. The protagonists in all his novels are attractive men who seduce their women with erotic desires.
