The last member of her mother's family was dying, she and her two sisters are her only relatives. Vera faces great challenges in getting to Winnipeg and discovers the deep connection she has to this place of her birth. This whole experience deeply affects her and gives birth to Elizabeth's Story, published in July 2014. Now read Vera's journey of growing up in southern California in the 1950s.
