Return to Paradox

Return to Paradox Valley with Pepe, the Peruvian sheepherder-turned-gold-miner, who struggles with freedom and truth as do some of the sheep he used to tend. Blessed by a chance gold discovery, the adventurer's fanciful life turns complicated after he and his business partner, Billy, sell the mother lode and become millionaires. His good fortune and common sense are further tested when he becomes infatuated with a gold-digging redhead who bears him a son but threatens his sanity and financial independence, making him feel like a confined farm animal destined for slaughter.
