After breaking off her career as a new lawyer in New York at the hands of a Russian Mafia mobster client, she returned to her familiar boating scene in the Carolinas. However, her entanglement with her mobster nemesis would continue to affect her life. Her skill and resourcefulness were necessary to survive on her travels along the Atlantic coast and Intracoastal Waterway.
