Jesse Richard Pitts was a pilot for the B-17 Flying Fortress in World War Two. In this evocative memoir, Jesse Pitts relates his bombing history and personal experiences, as a B-17 co-pilot and member of 379th bomb group of the 8th air force. Second Lieutenant Pitts along with his crew, flew 25 missions over France and Germany from 1943-1944 in the Penny Ante.
