Depending on how cynical you are, Rest in Pretend is either an introspective look at how mental illness, grief, and love are all sloppily woven together, or it is the ramblings of a man who became obsessed with death. However; like all things, the truth probably lies somewhere in the middle. As for whether these poems are helpful or hurtful; that too is for you to decide.
