Responsorial Psalms for the Church Year

The first volume of a collection of responsorial psalms for use throughout the church year during the Eucharist or Communion Service. These settings, by Robert Fielding, are intended for congregational use led by a cantor or choir. They have accompaniments that are suitable for organ or keyboard. Each setting has been used in worship at Romsey Abbey, Hampshire in the United Kingdom. Indexed for season or theme, the psalms use the translations available in the Church of England Common Worship Psalter (2000) and the ECUSA translation appearing in Celebrating Common Praise (1992). Melody-only versions of the responses for congregations are available in digital form from the author for reproduction in bulletins or projections.
