Reshaping Eliza

Earth is destroyed. Aliens are real. Hope exists. Eliza Ross leads a quiet life. Until the alien ships drop out of nowhere and render all Eliza considered normal to dust. Since then, she has escaped the frenzied spree of human-snatching and survived the destruction of her planet. Now, her goal is to join the rest of her people in their new home among the stars, which is why she embarks on a ship belonging to the Union of the Dozen Races-her saviors. But after reaching the Colony, Eliza learns her journey is far from over. Because Earth's invasion by the cursed Syks has triggered a new conflict among the ancient alien races. And the mighty Union of the Dozen Races, already busy fighting the biggest threat on several fronts, may not be enough to hold back the Syks from recapturing the humans in the Colony. Thankfully, the newest addition to the Union is there to help. But the Karssians themselves are slowly dying out, and in exchange for their assistance, they make a peculiar proposal: one human woman for the Colony's continued protection. To Eliza, this sounds like a simple decision-sacrificing one for the good of the rest-and so she readily volunteers herself. Still, once on the lush planet of Karssia, she wonders if her choice wasn't made in haste. For her intended match, High Councilor Pradan E'Melkor, doesn't seem to want her. And if she can't find a way to make things work between them, what will happen to the humans in the Colony?
